K.-H. Grr ochenig and A. Haas asked whether for every expanding integer matrix A 2 M n (Z) there is a Haar-type orthonormal wavelet basis having dilation factor A and translation lattice Z n. G-Frames in Hilbert spaces are a redundant set of operators which yield a representation for each vector in the space. In this paper we investigate the connection between g-frames, g-orthonormal bases and g-Riesz bases.
